I was wondering what is the glue type stuff your putting on that one part and why are you? doing that do you hae to just to change the fan?

It is called thermal paste and does not have the same properties as glue. Thermal paste is used to transfer heat in the most efficient manner possible. As long as you do not remove the heat sink ( the metal object I remove at 2:45 ) you do not necessarily need to replace the thermal paste. I do replace the thermal paste because it helps improve the? cooling capacity of the laptop. When ever I am replacing a fan in a laptop I replace the thermal paste.
