In this video I replace the cracked LCD Screen of an HP Mini 210-2070nr with a new one. Laptops parts are easy to break and the small connectors and plastic pieces can be expensive to replace. Thanks for the video … ANTS made a freaking NEST behind the LCD screen, I had to open? it up to get to them, nasty little things, lots of eggs and queens T_T took me half an hour of cleaning with a paper tower and alchool to get it to a “decently clean” state. Didn’t close it up and test yet but I don’t think I damaged it.

Does this procedure work for newer models like the 210-4150. There’s dust? behind the screen I’d like to clean off but I’m not sure how to open the cover without damaging it. Thanks!
It is apparent that you can replace the glass, however, the video would have been more helpful if the poster had someone filming the curcial parts, during his dissambly and assembly he video is covered by his head? and the viewer cannt see what parts he is unscrewing. Make some friends, get a girlfriend and enlist her to video record your dissambly ability and your viewage will tripple .

This? video is stupid. Not only are there no verbal explanations for what you’re doing, it’s sped up and this lame music is added. Unless someone basically already knows how to do this this video is a waste of space.

could help? disarm the screen in a 210-3000. I saw your video and apparently does not disarm the same: the covers of bizagras not yield.

Hey guys, you don;t have to take? everything apart to change the screen, I just finished changing one right now and all I did was to open the back and replace it..Just be careful when you are doing it….Best of luck

hey, thanks for the video, but I agree with some of the other posts, I am not sure you need to break? down the computer. Couldn’t you just pull the backplate off and unplug the video strip connection and unscrew the 4 screws.. and off… I’ll let you know, but other than this, its a great break down video (for other issue or parts that need replacment.
I was? following the HP service manual and if you think you can just pull the screen assembly a part like other models that is not the case here. Notice there is clear plastic covering the ENTIRE screen which is very different than other models.
I change these screen all the time and dont need to go to all that work. 20 minutes max to do this? job.
hey i have a gateway laptop its pretty new it has 3gb of ram a 320 gb? harddrive and an amd processor and the right sides back light keeps shuting off how much would that cost to fix
