How to fix the click buttons on a Toshiba Satellite L455 S5975 laptop

The left click button on my laptop broke. I did some searches and couldn’t find a fix. I did find some people that had the same problem. I decided that it couldn’t be that hard to fix it. So I took it apart and found that it was a very simple fix. Hope this helps a lot!

i have a problem where when i lick it wont work but? in some places on the button it will work will this fix that problem?

My guess is it’s worn out. You can’t easily fix them because the keyboard is usually glued together. You can buy a new? keyboard for a little under $15 on eBay or Amazon. You only have to take out 2 screws to replace it.

Hi my comma and period keys are not working(on my satellite l455) any ideas what? could be the cause? I popped keys off because i thought maybe something was stuck under them but nothing was there Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated thanks

It will be all most the same. Their might be a few? more screws or something but it should not be so different that you can’t use this video as a reference.

do you think that an L645 would be much different than your L455? i sent mine in for repair when it happened the first time and now its broken/loose again and i am now out of my warranty and i dont? want to spend $300 to fix it

Nope. This is just my personnel computer. ? Just thought I would try to fix it because their are no other places that tell you how.

my problem is the left click is gone it just dosent click ,but sometimes when i? type a key to hard it will randomly click .mainly when i press space bar a bit to hard .anyone else have this problem ? or has had and fixed?..
