Acer Aspire 5745G-724G50Mn ( Add RAM )
28 April 10, my new laptop bought in 9 April, Pikom PC Fair 2010 MITC ( Malacca International Trade Center ) Malacca. stay in malacca straits hotel from 9 to 11 April, I just thinking to visit and take some video of the Pikom PC Fair Malacca, but those amazing Chinese sales person doing business there always that intelligence, they always serve customer very well, you just feel really comfortable and confident with them, they tell all the truth, so you will agree with them. I really not thinking to buy a new computer, I just bought one Acer Aspire 4937G-872G32Mn less than 1 year, Acer Aspire M5711-483X just 1 year, and before Pikom PC Fair Malacca, one week ago, I already paid a deposit to order a new Asus laptop A52Jr-SX169V. but this laptop is really new in malaysia, even don’t have any media advertisement in malaysia and information on internet. it just came 1 night before Pikom PC Fair 2010 Malacca. always have a very good feeling when visit a few places of Pikom PC Fair every years in kuala lumpur, malacca, muar and batu pahat. I think this is about capable people to doing the business. and finally I bought this laptop less than half and hour after the young and beautiful sales person introduce about it. and paid easily with card for 12 months interest free, double of the free gifts … I really no need those free gifts, already bring it all to my younger sister, I really interested is add RAM to the computer, but in that time, because of this new laptop just came …

Are u kidding me???? I can play The Sims 3 on this laptop? with alll HIGH Settings…. This laptop also can play GTA iv with High Medium Settings …
My laptop’s processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo CPU T2250 1.73GHz with 512MB RAM. Will? there be an increase in performance if I add 2GB RAM to it?? My laptop is very slow. I really need help.

i want to make my system 12 gb? already got 4 gb ram (2+2) but i hav only 2 slots this is a bit dis appointing as i hav 5745g and the shown model has 4 slots and mine has only 2
I have acer 5745 and the CUPZ? software indicate that i have 667 MHZ ram in fact it is 666.6 (rounded off to 667) * 2 ( as ddr ram) ~= 1333 MHZ)
so this laptop support 1333MHZ ram as I got one installed from the acer itself but my laptop have only 2 RAM slots
I have the same laptop, and I wonder what benefits you get from upgrading the RAM? And can you buy any kind of RAM? And is? overheating a problem when the RAM lay on top of eachother like that?
I just added? another 2 GB DDR3 in addition to 2GB already there. It shows 4GB installed but only 2.30GB usable. Is this normal with 32 Bit OS? It runs on Core i3 2.53GHz.
@Turkblood69 You can run Starcraft 2 in medium settings with no problem at all but Crysis 2? will lag even if you play it in low settings. Tecrübeyle sabittir aga.

Chill man, case solved. I just take off the 1066Mhz & restart & put them back again. All goes well now. Actually 1333Mhz will tune down & adapt by itself automatically to suit with the lower Mhz RAM, jz like most RAMs do in PCs. The price for 1333Mhz & 1066Mhz only a few ringgit difference, so I decided to choose the better? ones. I’ve compared the statistics with ur video clip, all are almost the same =)
I torn off the Acer black? seal (as u said it’s ok) to upgrade to 8GB by 2x2GB 1066Mhz(original) with 2x2GB Kingston 1333Mhz.
But my ‘Windows Rating System’ said only 3.94GB usable. I googled & some say tat the higher Mhz will be tuned down to the same level as 1066Mhz because they r forced to. My task manager showed the new 2x2GB is the reserved RAM. Is there any way to maximize it’s RAM?

Where is the warranty sticker? Did u peel it off or it wasn’t there? I planned to upgrade my RAMs but the sticker is my problem, eventhough? some say it’s ok for RAM upgrading.
