Durable Laptop Batteries
Plant Battery inverter circuit.ASF
This is a two transistor inverter circuit for ‘Phyllis’ my plant battery. The circuit uses a small high voltage inverter transformer to raise the plant battery voltage high enough to light two LEDs. I also show how a small solar cell can be added to increase the supply power.

is there any way to get constant voltage without? capacitor
have you? tried to run the battery w/o the plant ?
nice clip .. i like it .. thanks for? sharing
——I explained about? the solar cell in the video if you listen. The plant battery has actually worked out quite well and is still powering my “Mosquito Light” . I use it as a watering indicator for the plant. When the Leds get dim then it is time to water the plant. I was very surprised at the success of this experiment. The plant didn’t die nor did the metals completely dissolve right away. I may do a video on it.
Solar Cell hidden behind pland? can see in video a :32sec, BS
the matrix, but then? only for plants mwahahahaha
—-The PNP is a 2N3906. It is a circuit diagram label error. There is a annotation for the? error in the video but thanks for bringing that up.
the 2n3904 you have in the circiut is an npn not a pnp and the mpsa06 is allso an npn you have errors in? your schematic
Lid, maybe you now have a Bionic plant of some sort. Glad to see? it is still ok. Really interesting.
—Add more plant batteries in parallel OR—increase the? surface area of the electrodes.
Is there a way to increase? the Amps? Great video once again.
—–This crazy plant is growing like a weed. Maybe it is some kind of weed?? The “battery” part of it’s world? doesn’t bother it at all—it likes it.
Yes you can increase? the Philowatts by adding more Phillys in series, just like a regular galvanic battery.
Just like a spinning rotor seems to go backwards as it reaches a multiple of? the camera’s frame rate, so can the brightness patches move in your plant battery. Interesting analysis.
Brilliant, man! I hope that oscillator helps your philly grow.
—Hi Jack. PHILOWATTS!!!! I need more Philowatts!!!!! Maybe I will? start an indoor garden and run my house on this?? This is a fun one. This new circuit was a spin off and I found out today that it might be the real find here.
—I have been watching that thread for some time. There is much good information there. These earth batteries,? I found out, are not a new idea. The old telegraph systems used them. Look up “microdial fuel cell” (MFCs). What is old is new again. It is an emerging science.
—–That is a great source of parts and it is fun to just wonder around their web site and see? what they have. Lots of fun stuff.
——This idea will wok in just? plain dirt but what we are studying is the interaction of the plant with the battery. It is very interesting. The plant seems to like it.
—–This circuit is nothing special but? I was surprised that it worked on such low power.
sweet there is a rather? long thread at overunity on earth batterys, wonder if it’s the plant or the soil and metals?
sweet now all i need? to wait for my plants to grow
