And I have the same practice with beverages—like I said above, I didn’t realize it was there until I saw this picture. Luckily it was just there for 10 seconds or so. :)

I recently replaced the stock HD in my 2007 white MacBook and all I had to do was remove the battery and one small metal strip to get at the HD. Took maybe 7 min total.

BTW.. I find it good practice to not have open beverages around computer hardware. Especially when it’s all so bare in this state. Your beer or not.. it shouldn’t be so close by just waiting to be tipped over.
