The one I saw had a large fan pointing upwards (Imagine where the keyboard is on a laptop). I wouldn’t have thought it got that hot. And as for the charge, I find it hard? to believe anyone could manage a decent charge on these things, but then again, who would need more than 2 hours of charge if they’re using it in a portable situation?
