My Mac did not come in anti -static bag and that computer was fine ( actually ) working better than it did before after I cleaned it out, I did it several times…so the word never really doesn’t apply here.. My computer got so hot it would burn my legs, it was not an issue of running hot it was a DESIGN FLAW. If you read the comment MOST that had the same program gained benefit for the technique,? the fact that video has 74K views should tell you just how bad the problem is.
You should never use a vac on or near any computer. Have you heard of static electricity yeah well computers are very vulnerable to static electricity.? WHY DO YOU THING COMPUTER PARTS COME IN ANTI STATIC BAGS you should think about these things Toshiba are great computers yes they run a little hotter than most this is why you should buy a cooling fan for under the computer also i don’t care if you buy a mac or a pc anything with a fan and a LCD screen will collect dust.
I’m too wary of using a dry vac with my junk mail because if my wife catches me using the dry? vac, I’ll end up vacuuming the whole house in addition to putting the junk mail in the recyclables’ bin, LOL!
Great vid! I liked the creative use of the junk mail, to reduce the vacuum cleaner’s force; that never occurred to me.
I own a Toshiba P500, and I don’t need to clean its vents very often.? When I do, I use tweezers and cotton buds with methylated spirits.
I’ll keep my Toshiba laptop because it does everything I need and want it to do.
Hands up all those folks who took a peek under their laptops to check the vents, using a LED flashlight, just as I did, LOL!
It is a? piece of shit.
In 4 days i get a Toshiba? Satellite L875D-100 17.3
My Satellite E205 shut off twice while I was playing games today due to overheating (It does run particularly hot when I play Skyrim, but had never shut off in the midst of a game up until now). I did run the vacuum over all the cooling vents, and it seems to be doing a little better now. I’m hoping to get a laptop cooling pad soon to help? with this situation, too.
wow thanks? so much
thx man this help alot ?
Dude that crap drove me to? get Mac! I had to clean it out like once a month!
Was just about to buy a Toshiba satellite, happy I didn’t. No wonder? Toshiba discontinued making this shit.
gonna try it on my? L675
You know what… I even opened my laptop and? do what you were doing in the video! LOL LOL
Ive always used a vacuum cleaner. Be careful tough, it? can ruin some components inside if the vacuum cleaner is too “strong”-
Just used my vacuum? to try this out and it worked great! Thanks for the soluton!
My toshiba satellite turn off by itself from time to time. And the fan never turn on. I ended up took the keyboard out and vacuum the dust out? the fan. I guess some lint got stuck in there so the fan couldn’t turn. Now the problem is gone. And you don’t need to disassemble the whole thing to clean the fan. Just the keyboard.
Will a vacuum? cleaner work too ?
Didnt work : ?
I watch this as my laptop overheats : hopefully this? works!
did this work
?
Dust and fuzz can definitely cause overheating. Just be careful when blindly pushing it (compressed air) or pulling it (vacuum) it around the internal chassis. You can actually wind up wedging crap into the fan terminal causing it to seize, which will cause a severe overheat kill in under 2 minutes of operation. After trying to blow and suck mine out, I wound up having to perform a full disassemble and extract? a gerbil sized hairball from my internal cooling fan, that seized the turbine blade.
Thumbs? up if you belong to these who never find out their problem’s solution -.-
Hello there! Thank you for this helpful video. By the way, I hear many people keep on talking about Monezilax System (just? google it), but I’m not sure if it’s good. Have you considered Monezilax System? I have heard many great things about it and my mate earn tons of money with it, but he refuses to tell me
Nice tip! I’ll remember this for when? I don’t have a nozzle for a shop vac!
Hey
All I can bring myself to say is what an? awesome video!
