I was amazed to find I could sitck a cunk of wood in it as big around as it and produce good long heat for an hour or so. Thus… it was actually lower maintence then a regular fire.

The best is canabalizing left over coals from past campfires at campgrounds.

I didn’t get boil times before I accidentally melted it down. I tried to butress it against a log that was dry… the log caught fire and without the ability to disappate the internal heat the whole side of the outer can just melted. I guess that’s the problem with using a fan.

I only got to boil on it once and while it was certainly acceptable I didn’t really get a good sense of what it could do, nor how to optimize it.

I’ve decided that it was such a success in everything but durability I should jump up my plans to make a square version that can break down into flat pack. It’ll be roughly the same size, just square and the sides will eiter hinge or more likely slot together.

Just have to find the right weight aluminum.
