Is it really 5 years since I bought this UPS? The batteries are rated for three years so for this one to last five is good.
I have a new one on order, in the meantime I have to put up with this red light blinking and an annoying beep! With all the power cuts we get, it would be foolish to risk running my computer without a battery back up power supply.

Ouch. We had to renew the ones in work not long ago. That was a LOT of batteries!
100 Euros for a new battery is not too bad. The old one saved by computer on many an occasion when the electricity cut out and has lasted five years.
