Any company that would gobble up IBM, maker of some of the least reliable notebooks I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with, and think it was a good deal is in trouble.

Lenovo has earned? a lot of market share in the last years, mainly because of the reliability and the sturdiness of their laptops. I own a thinkpad, john owns a thinkpad as well and we’re satisfied with them.

still, only time will tell if this ultrabook is going to stand. for now though, i for one quite like it. except for the screen of course

Looks pretty good. Note that? Lenovo’s website, if you buy it online, charges tax for whatever reason. So for a $1000 system expect to pay at least $100 more in tax. Newegg doesn’t charge tax, so at over a $600 difference I went with the i5.
