how to dismantle to fix components in HP G62. Tear down repair.
www.centropy.co.uk How to dismantle a G62 Laptop – Forgot to add an instruction part way through the video to remove the ZIF connector before taking the keyboard off, other than that it should be fairly complete. First video, please excuse any errors/omissions. Sound loop provided by templateswise.com

Geez, I was considering taking out the fan for a quick clean, but after watching this video, I’ll do it some day when I have the? spare time
Nice video of your? head
Should make a video about how to open up the? battery, have a bad cell inside mine, would donate just to learn.
Who is the idiot who designed this cooling system, which can’t be cleaned with out a complete disassenbly? of the laptop?????
The only access? in these models is through the top. So you can’t just take the back panel off. You will need to take the whole thing apart like the video shows. Other models may allow access through the back panel but not with this style HP.
Hello, I just want to replace the fan in an HP Pavilion g6. Is that possible by taking just the back panel off? I would really appreciate any instructions for? a novice that wants to do just that.
thank you. this helped me? a lot
Nice work! Easy? to follow n’ no talking, spot on.
How do I? remove the keyboard safely
I hate HP for this… this laptop overheats pretty easily and they built the fan so awkwardly that? one needs to graduate in IT to just clean it…
Wow, typical HP junk. I may have to replace the fan in? my mom’s laptop, had no idea it is going to take all that.
Thank you, dude the instructions are flawless !! The hardest part was the removal of keyboard since it was? glued hard.
instead of pulling the keyboard from the top use a screwdriver to push from behing through the screw holemuch easier? that way
my harddrive is connected with a wire? sowhat do i do? help plzz!
for this hp is very crap, they only invest money in designs for very expensive laptops like envy or so, dell has the same problem but they at least make it more easy then hp. I love asus for all the back pannel designs on low? budget laptops also. thanks for the vid. gona repair a g62 today, video is more easy then reading a service manual
The keyboard part is a little bit tricky. i pulled it from the top and it came out at an end. and you didnt mention that? you have a 3rd screw on the motherboard plus another plug on the back. Another thing … did you have the problem with the random shut down???
Huh?? The video cable at this place?
Really helpful video, Thanks. For some reason the CD-ROM drive? won’t come out easily, any ideas?
Everything makes sense apart from removing the keyboard, which you admit you botched a bit.
How does the keyboard come off, please? The rest? is perfect. Thanks.
Great Video. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I plan to use it soon to replace my fan which stops working. The keyboard? connector is very? fragile. How do you remove it? Can I just pry it out without breaking it?
thanx? a lot
OK, thanks.
