How To: Change a PT Cruiser car battery
This is a how-to video on changing the battery in your 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser. I’m sure the process is similar in other year models; but this is the general idea of how to do it. You’ll need a flathead screwdriver and 1/2 inch socket wrench.

Nice how to video, but you should always disconnect the negative terminal first when removing the battery? and when installing the battery connect the negative terminal last to prevent shorting out or blowing up the battery.

Pretty good video. For stock specks all thow I have relocated the battory to the boot in my 2006 cruiser freein up a? lot of room in the engine bay and alowing for a bigger battery if I want

very informative but you can see 8:52 that he did not put the air filter cover on properly.? it has teeth on back that were not properly hinged.this will allow debri into combustion chamber.
Very helpful – minor differences with a 2006? but nothing major at all. I have broken things off cars before by pulling them when I shouldn’t have done so, so to have it confirmed that this was how to remove the air filter box was great. Thanks!
