It’s completely false. The guy is doing something wrong.

I get regularly 5 hours of battery life on my E420? while web browsing and using MS Word.

I’ll probably check this laptop out at the office store that is nearby where I live. I think it provides me better value for price and specs than the T420. I’m only needing mostly for typing, skyping, office, and maybe a few movies. I was having a hard time finding something reliable, build solidly, reasonably priced and up to what i’m going to use. So far, I’d say the E420 definitely suites my? purpose… I might even get a white&grey sticker of a banana and stick it on the lid.. (:

You’re going from a Macbook pro unto a Windows Thinkpad EDGE? Wow… i’m quite shocked and pleasantly surprised. I’ve never seen anyone ever deciding to do that. I’m quite curious though on your opinion about the screen quality. Macbook pro vs. Thinkpad Edge. Let me know if it’s massively different, or the same… I put both of my thumbs up for you decision… PS: I’m adding a White&Grey banana sticker on the lid, if i’m getting this laptop…?
