i? love my new keyboard, it’s a proper gaming keyboard and everything.
i can imagine that keyboard being the polar opposite of the one i’ve got, because this one is awesome.
Nope, they don’t use the same connection? or wiring.
Wont an Ethernet 10/100 cable? work?
Only problem I’ve really had is getting P-tap and M-tap to work with my original collection? of tapes and transferring them back and forth.
Also.
Finding those pesky Double density floppies is sometimes a bit expensive and difficult.
Never played around with mine much.
.
I actually got one because of this review
More of something odd to have just because.
I haven’t really done a whole lot with either of my IBM computers.
Right now I’m in the middle of a love affair with my Commodore 64.
Which has got to be? one of my all time favorites.
I have used both. Have you used a PCjr keyboard for any length of time? What I said should make a bit more sense? then, because it’s quite a different experience. The PCjr’s keys are a lot taller and stiffer than any calculator I’ve used.
You really should try a TI-83 or TI-89 series graphing calculator…after that you’ll understand? where people are getting the calculator keys idea from.
I’ve spent way too many hours with my graphing calculator.
He types really? fast
“dude what th hek”
Yeah, that keyboard sucks…?
I? know its tons, tins ,teiouns? Fuck it I cant spell
No you are just a douche…I admit you? have tuns of cool toys, Lots of gadgets. You are a Noob my friend…..-1 T% fly bowstaff skills cuz yous no shitz
looks? deliciously chewy
I got the PCjr? version of 2.1 from a fellow collector. It should work with any DOS version up to v3.3 just fine, but the PCjr version is ideal. I have an image of the disk if you need it, just email me.
Where did you get that disk of DOS 2.1? Did you make it yourself? I’ve tried booting DOS from a floppy on my recently aquired PC Jr. and it just goes right to basic. I’ve tried a ton of disk images of DOS 2.0, 2.1, 3.1 and nothing works. I know you’re not usually able to respond to these kind? of posts because you get so many of them, but I’ve looked all over the internet and can’t find anything useful. If you could give some advice on how to boot this into DOS 2.1, that would be great.
Where it plugs in is a proprietary port, it’s? not a phone jack/RJ-11/14.
Can’t you just plug in a regular phone jack? from the revised keyboard into the back of the PCjr?
Seriously, how needs modern day keyboard technology ;P
I just exchanged my black, compact keyboard and got my hands on a old keyboard. Which will be my new keyboard from now on. My God is it satisfying to use and type stuff. It’s massive, it’s clunky, feels almost indestructible, buttons are huge and they got this nice “click” to them.
Sure enough, buttons have this classic white and grey look, and I’d had to use? an additional adapter to actually connect it to my PS/2 port. It is great though.
1 person couldn’t use the chiclet style? keyboard
I now have the strange irresistible urge to chew on gum? and other rubbery materials…
That chiclet keyboard looks so cute. Don’t get me wrong,? it must be unbearable to use, but still it looks nice.
What’s the battery life like for the? keyboard?
dual? weilding keyboards!
I’m a little late,? I know, but eBay is still the best place to look.
im going to ask a question again, do you know where to find a good one of theses at a fair? price?
