it gets better in time. every 6 weeks. We will see a great update in may? Google I/O i think…
The Chromebook i want is a 13,3 FullHD 1920×1080 Chromebook with ARM 20nm Dual or Quadcore and a 64 gigs of drive + at? least 4 gigs of ram…
That would be fucking awesome…
Chromebook is not for everyone. Chromebook depends on? your needs. I strongly believe that a Chromebook would be a great thing for a College student.
Yes?
So you can only? get apps from the chrome store?
Perfect for Grandma’s and? Grade Schoolers…:)
The chrome book sounds like a good? idea but don’t think it is for me. There is nothing without the internet. Maybe it will get better in time. I will try it then
I’d like one, to be honest. I have a desktop right now and while I adore it, I’d like something? I could take outside during the nice months and not strain my eyes looking at a 4″ phone screen!
TweetDeek has a Chrome app that? works on the Chromebooks
it? is the 999th video
I have? it it sucks
Chromebook rules. Have had it for 2 months and love it as long as you? have connectivity.
But! Laughing thru the review doesn’t make it “fun” or “funny”. I watch for the reviews not for the attempt at the funny.
i was first impressed with this Chromebook before the holidays when i was able to unbox my mother’s Chromebook via FaceTime. My mother is in her 50′s and all she did was open it up, power it on, it received an update and she logged in with her google account. that was it! it was that simple and i haven’t had any ‘help’ calls
I picked one up after the holidays and yes, it is a great addition to? my Google ecosystem at work! My iPad and MBPro still have their uses…
I thought this was a commercial? for 5-hour Energy drink
What’s the? password? The password is “what”. That’s what I said, “What’s the password”!
no, I generally don’t like it when control is taken from? me… so yea, no
STOP SAYING ALUMINIMUM WRONG? and yes I know I fail at spelling
the problem is chromebook is as expensive as a netbook and even the mid spec laptops
i dont mind this, but i can do the same as the chromebook and then so much more with a laptop
i dont mind if my laptop is booted in 45 seconds instead of 10 , i am not launching rockets in space.
and while the whole idea suits better on? a tablet, i still feel chromebook should be given at least 128 gb of storage space.
while oppsite smartphones are trying to reduce the no. of devices(phone, mp3 player, GPS)
This works perfectly well as a secondary computer. I got one exactly for use as a secondary computer, and I enjoy using it much. It is amazingly straightforward and no brainer to use. The concept of? PC now is increasingly Personal Cloud as opposed Personal Compute. The Chromebook serves as a gateway for that.
Very informative… However this push to the cloud has got to raise some concerns.?
The elite government has a plan to put all computers on the cloud. This means like basic stuff like word processing would be impossible to operate without a Internet. It’s all about control. They are also in the process of killing the desktop and laptop. You know the high end one’s and replacing them? with arm power cloud based devices. Btw Infowara is a good site to get alternative news instead of the mainstream lying media.
chrome book is for the people who? just use the internet not the computer itself.
No way, we’re not ready for cloud only computers and we’re never be for at least 10 years. Would would be cool if you’d have just a dumb machine and something like onlive desktop, a way to access a super speedy machine anywhere and to download stuff at 100-1000MB/s and edit movies? an do stuff a MULTI-CPU (120 cores or more) speeds, that would be fun. Google, pay attention.
No? java support makes me sad
Root your chrome? book then put Android on it.
