is? this laptop good for watching HD movies ? if not, then what is ?
That ain’t true. I have a Vaio Z model, which on Feb 11, 2013 will be exactly 4 years old. THe capacity of my battery fell down from initial 100% to approx 80%, now can anyone call this bad? No way. That’s actually excellent. Now the thing is, you have to know how to take care about your battery. I usually have it charged on 50% when working at home, and sometimes at 80% of full charge. Then perhaps a few times montlhy you should? exhaust your battery flat, and recharge it back to 100% and so on.
Lisa, I’m considering this laptop. I will be using it mostly for home recording and audio editing. I’d get the one with the i7 processor, but would you recommend the high rpm hdd for this type of work? My main? concern is high CPU usage, which has been causing my 3 y/o Macbook’s fan too run very hard and noisy lately. (Sound card is not the issue, I have an external interface) What would be your thoughts on a stable S series configuration for music and audio work?
