I want to buy it and put SSD? in there as cache using Intel SRT. Does it mean that I’ll lose my warranty? Do you know other 15′ MSI laptop with similar specs, that will allow me to do that?

Most of the time the 2nd HDD bay? does not come with the extra bracket and screws – usually about $14.00 USD or so. If you purchased your GT60 from us, feel free to contact us directly and we’ll be happy to help, and we can offer up assistance on installing the Windows OS on the SSD – thanks!
I’ve ordered the MSIGT60 and it only has one 750GB hard drive and I’m going to buy a ssd and replace the 750GB hd with it, and obviously put the 750GB into the another hd bay. What? would be the easiest way to install windows in the ssd? And also, do I need some extra screws or bracket to install both of the drives in the laptop, or is there everything that I need to install them?
We agree with your comments and assessment – thank you for sharing! Also on another note; the ASUS G55s/G75s have slightly? better and quieter cooling systems…
In terms of specs the MSI gives you sooo much more bang for your buck (especially now that the current GT60 models come with 675m-680m GPU and the current ASUS G55 has downgraded to the? 660m). However the ASUS looks better and is of a higher build quality. I was in a similar bind and went with the GT60 and couldn’t be happier.

Great video, looking at getting the laptop? in the coming days. One question however. Will I be able to swap out one of the 500GB HDD’s for a 256GB SSD for programs and windows installation without voiding warranty?
other than screen size is there ANY where that the GT70 (416US) might outperform? the GT60 (403US) considering both are customized the same (and obviously have 680m graphics card)?
Oh god that turbo fan is LOUD. Everything? about this system is great, including the fans (great cooling) but they’re a bit loud.
But does the built in turbo clock button featured in the video still work even if I dont buy the overclock, I probably will still purchase the overclock from you, but I am just curious?

You can overclock it yourself, but we usually recommend against it that’s why we offer the service, plus we warranty the overclocking and labor too so you have more of a safety? guarantee…thanks!
