Acer Aspire S7 Review
Lisa Gade reviews the Acer Aspire S7 11.6″ Ultrabook with a 1080p touch screen. The S7-191 sells for 99 and it has an Intel Core i5 CPU with 4 gigs of RAM and a 128 gig SSD drive. It weighs just 2.99 lbs. and is very slim: it’s one of the most portable Ultrabooks on the market. It has a backlit island style keyboard, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Intel HD 4000 graphics. Acer includes a secondary clip-on battery, case, mouse and VGA and Ethernet adapters. It has 2 USB 3.0 ports, 3.5mm audio, micro HDMI and a microSD card slot. The machine runs Windows 8 64 bit and it has a 1920 x 1080 IPS display with 10 points of multi-touch.

seem to find any cases I need one so bad because this model gets scratches all over it very easily it would be nice if you could help find me a keyboard protector to oh? and with the case I don’t really want a skin I would like a hard cover but if you cant find a hard cover ill settle for a skin as long as it protects it thanks.

Can’t you just change the icon size, one reason? Windows 7 looked terrible on earlier tablets with Win 7 on them. You had to tweak the settings.

For 3D modeling I’d? go with the laptop with the most powerful graphics card. The Dell XPS 15 has some thermal throttling issues though, so that wouldn’t be my first choice for 3D work.

lisa .. what laptop is the best for 3d modeling ?? .. msi gt60 .. dell xps 15 .. lenovo y580 .. asus 56vz .. ??? and? is there any author laptop that is better ?? .. the only bad thing about the gt60 is the size :/ so what’s you advice please ??
Lisa do you think the Razer Edge is something you would review? It is being sold as the most powerful tablet in the world and for gaming it seems it probably? is. No one reviews tech better than you so it would be nice if you could. Just gotta wait for Razer to ship to the UK. Thanks.
That really depends on what apps you install. For me, with my must have apps installed including Photoshop, I have? 86 gigs free.
Acer Aspire S7 vs. Asus Taichi 21= 1 screen vs. 2 screens and 2 pounds vs. 3? pounds.

Raid 0 means it has 2 64GB drives in it which since they are solid state I don’t see how there would be an increase? in performance.

Hi Lisa, another helpful and informative review. Using photoshop was a nice touch.? The little external battery is a great idea, all company’s should include the accessories like Acer has done with this ultra book..
