Sunwayman T20CS Dual Switch LED Flashlight Review

goinggear.com The Sunwayman T20CS uses two switches, one on the tail end and other by head, to quickly access different outputs plus strobe. Once the tail switch is activated, you can use the side switch by itself if you prefer. The CREE XM-L is powered by either 1 18650 or 2 CR123 batteries, giving you the option of rechargeable or disposable power.

Check out the Klarus? XT11.
So what light would you recommend from your store as being? the best for $125 and under?
Something to keep in mind, this light can use 18650 batteries but they aren’t regulated (in turbo mode) for some reason and you can’t reach the full 658 lumens in turbo mode unless using the cr123′s. So what you’re seeing in this review is still slightly less bright than the light is? capable of.
I? haven’t seen any advantage to the AW batteries. I use the Eagletacs in all my lights.
So I finally decided on the T20CS over the XT11 and now I need to settle on batteries. You mentioned the EagleTac Protected 18650 3100 mAh goes well with this light in the video. But, would I be better off using the AW R18650 2900mah Battery?
This is my 1st? light and I don’t mind spending extra on batteries. I’m all about quality. Thanks for any input! You’re reviews have been great!
I don’t know? if you are looking for a wide or focused beam, so I’ll say the XT11 since I really like the interface.
Beam distance/spill? wise, which do you prefer? The t20cs or the xt11?
SWM makes good stuff. I’m a big fan? of what they are doing.
Sunwayman you sold me was the best horse trading I ever did with you. It has replaced Fenix ta30 on my pack and inspection light.Working in Laplace LA after the hurricane and hope to make it up there to the big ATL to? get more great stuff from you. Jim
Yeah, it’s just a? rubber ring.
Is the? pistol grip bit removable?
I knew the tail was but the middle section looks narrower so I had a glimmer of hope you see
. Fenix says 18-22mm but I can fit a D25LC2 which is? 23mm. It doesn’t close all the way but does it well enough to be solid. If a T20CS did that I’d get one as it looks a great light but maybe I should just run two D25LC2′s lol. Thanks for getting back to me anyway.

It’s a 1″ body, so it would not properly fit.?
Great video as always- your reviews are really informative and I appreciate the time you put in to them- they are a lot of fun
. One question, do you have any info whether the T20CS will fit the fenix headband clamp, save for buying one and finding? it doesn’t this information seems to be of the rarest kind- does suggest it’s a crazy idea as I’ve looked and asked for an answer but am yet to find one.
Is it? waterproof? :/
I just didn’t include it. I didn’t realize it was? there until now.
As I can see, there is no turbo-mode in the test. Why…? It’s a great advantage over T40CS, because we have four? fixed mode here.
XT11, for sure. Interface is? awesome.
XT11 because? of the interface. Beams are about the same.
It worked fine when I tested it. Might have been a fluke. I? was using high quality, freshly charged batteries though.
Oh yeah, another question: There are zillions of LED lights of this similar shape and size with 2-Cr123′s or 1-18650. I just got in the Eagletac G25 C2 from you yesterday, and its similar, as is? my Solarforce L2P. Of all these similar single 18650 lights that you’ve been lucky enough to check out, which would you choose if you could only choose one?
Which light would YOU choose between the? Sunwayman T20CS and the Klarus XT11? They seem fairly similar in shape/size and pretty close in output. Which has the best throw/flood?
Hey,
So just to confirm to all the viewers….You are saying that the T20CS Turbo Mode works perfectly
with the 18650 battery?? All the other forums are saying the opposite so I just wanna be clear
since you seem very well? informed.
Quality of the batteries probably makes a big difference. I was using a good one. Maybe people that couldn’t get into turbo? were using crappy or run down batteries.
