[http://www.flickr.com/photos/ericflexyourhead] DP Merrill has a excellent resolution and image quality and you'll love it if you use it to take landscape photography. But it has slower AF and much less battery life than ordinary camera. It is very unique and it is up to what you expect weather you'll like or not.

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/saruworld] Thank you. yes, it was hard to decide which one for the trip, but I was happy with the equipment.
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/21576477@N04] Glad to hear that you found this photo interesting. I didn't bring my macro lens because it is winter and I didn't expect a flower. But a macro lens is a wonderful choice if it is spring or summer. Yes, and fisheye! I'm interesting purchasing one - it is a great lens for capturing sky with full of stars at night, and make things different from what you see and make your photo unique. It is hard and also fun to decide which lens to bring with me.
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/nightgallery] Thank you. It is interesting that mine are almost identical with yours.
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/55594432@N03] Thank you. These equipment are heavy, but they works great on photography.

I like seeing photos like this. Interesting to see what other people take with them.
I always find it difficult to decide what to take on holiday, my macro lens is sadly always left behind as although its great it's not always useful on holidays. Now that I have the Tokina Fisheye 10-17mm and the Canon 17-40L, which are similar I have to take both as they offer such different shots. And of course you can't go wrong with a 50mm! I tend not to use my telephoto lens on holidays that much but of course I always take it with me!
Your welcome about the white-tack!
