Cost me £591.98 direct from Lenovo’s website. I bought it in February this year. I’m about to extend the warranty by 3 years? for £150 through their website.
Thinking of buying a Lenovo soon. How much did this one cost??
UPDATE: Installe a Crucial M4 64gb SSD. Used? the 3 restore DVD’s and chose to restore the OS only, but when I got to the third DVD it said ran out of disk space. So I did a fresh install of Windows 7 from a USB pen dive and then installed all the drivers from Lenovo website.
This SSD is great! Boots up in 10 seconds and is so mch faster than the 500GB hard disk it came with. I’m going to get a 2.5″ USB caddy and use that hard drive in there as external storage. This laptop is even better now!
I would go with the Edge, i have had the Toshiba satellite, and I liked it, but the Lenovo Edge is a much better pc, and is overall better and easier to use. I? would recommend the Lenovo Edge.
What model Tosh Satellite? is it? I wouldn’t be able to advise you fairly otherwise.
Hi! So i’ve norrowed my choices between a Lenovo edge and Toshiba Satellite. Both virtually with the same specs. Which would you? recommend would perform better? And durability wise, which will be worth buying?

Just an update. The Laptop is still performing as well as it did when I first bought it
Battery life is? about the same which is a nice surprise. I’m thinking of putting an SSD drive in and using an external 500GB USB drive for data. Will keep you guys posted. Any questions ask away!

What do you mean by touchscreen? The display isn’t a touchscreen one, or do you mean the touchpad??

@PaulinoAuyon I get 5.5hours of casual surfing and music listening.4 hours when im doing more intense things like many applications etc… and? whem gaming id be lucky to get 2 hours lol
@9Y0 Ive been using the laptop alot and still performs the same as it did when I first got it. I do use it most on AC power so? cant really comment if the battery is still as good, but i did get 4 hours of intensive office applications and rdp sessions on battery
its a beauty to use though, love typing on it the keyboard is the best ive ever used and the bigger size trackpad is great too
So far, how? is the laptop handling. Any problems, any glitches both hardware and software. Do these Thinkpad Edge computers ARE durable?

and I have question:
Can its i3 CPU be replaced with i7 Quad Core 2630QM or 2820QM?!
I know that? for gaming is better to buying notebook from ASUS, HP, DELL? but I like ThinkPads
My option is that Radeon 6630M with 2 GB is quite good GPU if it have support from Quad Core CPU. (and Radeon 76XX is SAME just renamed RENAMED GPU)
