Thanks for the video… I spilled milk on my trackpad
… since? then I’m getting weird behavior like the cursor starts moving like crazy… Can I do this to clean the trackpad?? Cheers,
My? MacBook trackpad dose not click
Amazing videos, I m not sure if somone put some hacking software on my computer liek bitely, but i chekd the add ins on chrome, and there is nothing, but then i googled this issue, and it seems when you spill water on your mac book pro, it has these affects and issues where the mouse just takes control, and unless you keep the track? pad pressed, and even then it doesnt work. so How do I replace the mouse pad? Have you ever come across this issue, I paid 800 pounds for my macbook from the US
Thanks for a quick reply…Let me take? a stroll in Home depot and try to get that universal one.I will update you when i find the right size.
OH? ONE MORE THING… If you figure out the size, let me know so I can update the video for the mid 2010 peeps
thanks!!!
Thanks man! I really appreciate it. I’m pretty sure that it should still be a T6, obviously I could be wrong about that, I don’t know of every model so I can’t really confirm. My best suggestion is getting a universal one (like the one I’m using, it stores the different sizes in the cap, I got that particular one from home depot for just a few dollars and you can try them all out), I’ll also include an amazon link in the description for you if you prefer? that!
I absolutely love your videos.Quick question: I bought the #00 phillips and T-6? from this link you sent The #00 was good but the T-6 screwdriver felt a little small than the screw on the trackpad..My MBP is mid 2010 13″ unibody,is there a dirrefent T-6 i should buy ?
OH SNAP!!!!? I think I’m going to steal credit for that fix… my video obviously did that! B)
+1 rescued computer thanks to this video hahaha
This is? weird, I was desperate of my trackpad and trying to search for fixes on youtube, while watching this my trackpad strangely healed itself 0_o
You know, it’s very possible that this will fix it… it’s either that or your battery is expanding a bit and forcing pressure on? the trackpad… that’s rare but does occur on occasion, to fix that you just need to replace the battery.
Keeps zooming in and out…? When you say zooming in and out do you mean in photos/the browser or does it literally zoom your entire desktop? (Sorry about the late response btw!).
hi, my trackpad has gone funny and has a mind of its own, it keeps zooming in and out and iv already reset the pram about 3 times, it fixes it temporarily then? it spaz’s again.. will this fix it?? thanks
when i right click my trackpad wont make the? click sound that it usually makes. it barely needs any pressure to click it. its a mid 2009 macbook pro btw
I figure as much, I just put off repairing it for a while till I get some money saved up? for now. I’ve got a the Mighty Mouse to hold me down.
If you try to screw it in, and it doesn’t work, than it probably means that you overs crewed it, and therefore striped the threads. The threads are the grooves in that hold the? screw in place, and if those are gone, than you’re pretty much out of luck. You’ll have to get the trackpad replaced.
RE pdf… Oops!? Sorry just found them.
Great video! Thanks for the tip. I couldn’t find the printable PDF on your website. Could you post to? oink to it?
Great video, thank? you so much. There’s so many lazy people on forums trying to fix this problem with software! LOL idiots!
hey? the problem with my track pad is when I try to move the curser it barely moves and quite frequently controls itself which is annoying because when I try to click on a link it’ll move down to an app and click that as I click and it’s really doing my head in! What can I do, know anything about this problem?
My trackpad is uneven, would this fix mine? I read about it online and people were saying that there is? probably a loose screw under my trackpad. Also, I still do have warranty, is there any way to by-pass this so they can’t detect I took out the battery?
What if i have a macbook mid 2010 model? will? this work?
Unfortunately? I messed with the screw on my MacBook’s Trackpad being foolish. I can’t seem to get that tiny screw in back where it was now. My Trackpad no longer clicks or isn’t able to be pressed down anymore.
What if i cleaned my keyboard and track pad with a disenfecting wipe and now not working how? their suppose to mostly the keyboard
FYI, you don’t have to screw in the back cover again before testing. Just set it in place and turn it over, then test it. If it works the way? you want, THEN screw in the back cover. Otherwise, keep adjusting and testing until you get it the way you want before screwing on the back cover.
