Lenovo Thinkpad T400 Review. 2765 T2U. 2.53 Dual corm 7200 RPM HD, Switch able graphics, 9 cell battery. While the Lenovo T400 offers speed and great expandability its on the heavy side at nearly 6lbs. The 14″ wide screen is super sharp. Viewing angle is much less than most will expect. Boot time is 22 seconds. Good battery life & features. Cons- Extremely cheap plastic construction. Severe ‘flex’ on keyboard and deck. Sloppy construction throughout. No rubberized finish!! 9 Cell is HEAVY. Monitor is not bright enough for outdoor use. Conclusion- For 00 I expected the quality to live up to thinkpads of the past. If you are expecting this T400 to be the quality of the old IBM days take a pass on this one. It may be quick and have some expandability but many other competitors offer significantly better quality, same if not better specs for about the same money.
